The Shah’s Vault is committed to the lawful and responsible sale of historical objects, coins, manuscripts, and works of art.

Documentation and Description

We review the information available for each object before listing it. Product pages are intended to distinguish documented facts from seller attribution, visual assessment, and provisional dating. When third-party certification, an auction record, or other supporting documentation is available, it is identified in the listing.

Lawful Trade

We do not knowingly offer objects that we believe were unlawfully obtained, exported, imported, or transferred. We reserve the right to request additional ownership or provenance information, decline a consignment, refuse or cancel a transaction, or restrict shipment when documentation is insufficient or when a transaction may violate applicable law.

Import and Export Requirements

Cultural-property, customs, import, and export requirements vary by object and destination. International shipment is offered only where lawful and practical. Buyers are responsible for understanding the import requirements of the destination country, while The Shah’s Vault remains responsible for complying with laws applicable to the seller and shipment.
